OPEN WATER SCUBA DIVER $550
This is the introductory course where you learn the basic building blocks of becoming a scuba diver. We will start with either E-Learning or classroom training. Once that is complete, you will sign your waivers, and show up to a designated location You will conduct a swimming test which is 200 meters and then a 10 minute tread at the surface. Now for the fun stuff. 5 confined (pool) dives where you will learn a variety of skills, hands on in the pool. This portion averages about 4 hours depending oh how easily the student picks up the skill. Then the really exciting stuff, we head to the Open (lake / ocean) water, where we spend the majority of time approximately 15 to 20 feet deep, while you learn a few extra skills and demonstrate all the skills you have learned back to your instructor, over the course of 4 dives. Then moments later, your certification will be processed and you will receive a temporary card in your email, until your official certification card is processed into your PADI app. Once completed you will be able to dive to a recreational depth of 60 foot deep.

ADVANCED OPEN WATER SCUBA DIVER $650 +
The advanced open water diver course gives you the opportunity to try 5 specialties over the course of two days and 5 open water dives. Underwater navigation and deep diver, are required specialties. Then you can select 3 more specialties to try. (Also each specialty you try, the dive is credited to the same specialty if you want to get certified in that specialty.) The biggest benefit of deep diver is increasing your diving depth to 100 foot deep! * See Specialty diver for available specialties. ** All diving from boats will incur extra costs due to boat rentals or boat passenger tickets for the student and the instructor.

Enriched Air Diver $175 +
Enriched air diver is a course of instruction that allows a diver to purchase enriched air for diving. The primary benefit of diving with enriched air is reduced nitrogen. So long time diving and multiple dives in a day can be completed with reduced exposure to nitrogen. * Diving is not required to complete this course. However, add an additional $65 per open water dive you wish to complete on enriched air.

Discover Scuba Diving $100 +
Would you like to try before you buy? After a short 40 minute video you will spend about 30 minutes learning a few skills in the pool, then you get to enjoy the remainder of your air tank diving in the pool for fun. Not enough fun? Cool, we have more for you. For a $50 up charge, we can go to the ocean / lake (which ever is available based on location) and you can spend an additional 30 minutes in the lake diving with your instructor!

Specialty Diver Certifications $200 +
Do you have any special interests? Would you like to learn to dive in a underwater wrecked airplane? Maybe search and recover lost valuables? Or go as deep as you can on a recreational certification? Try specialty certifications. *

Are you ready for the big leagues? Divemaster is the first level of Scuba Professional. Learn to present your skills at professional instructor level, then either simulate or conduct a variety of live courses to build your skill set under direct supervision of an instructor. Next stop, assistant instructor and instructor. This includes Discover scuba leader.

First aid, AED, CPR, Emergency Oxygen provider combo $225

At Mike’s Affordable Scuba LLC we will never force you to buy gear to begin the course with, unless it is required per PADI standards. However, we do often offer student packages based on availability. Which may or may not be available due to supply chain issues. Feel free to thank the Biden administration for that one. We highly recommend that you purchase your own Mask, Fins, Snorkel & Boots.

Additional gear that is required for scuba diving is a BCD, Regulator set with Octo, A SPG or dive computer with integrated air, Weights. Highly recommended gear includes a cutting tool, a DSMB, a whistle, a dive flashlight and a back up light. All available at Mike’s Affordable Scuba!
